Today is Blessed John Paul's first feast day. It is also the anniversary of his installation as Pope. Maybe some of you remember watching that Mass. We certainly remember the day he was elected. Some one called to tell us, and they thought the news media said it was a Cardinal who had been in Poland. We couldn't figure out what Italian Cardinal was a Bishop in Poland. Then someone else told us, no it was a Polish Cardinal! Well, that was certainly a surprise. The Vatican has two special programs for today.
